The Where, The What & The How Book

I made this image for ALSO‘s upcoming book called The Where, The What & The How: 75 Artists Illustrate the Wondrous Mysteries of the Universe. ALSO commissioned over 50 scientists and 75 artists to come together to illustrate and explain some of science’s biggest mysteries.

I was assigned the mystery “What is the origin of the moon?”, explained by professor Sarah Carmichael. The image is an ink drawing with digital color. Keep an eye out for the book in stores soon!

I don’t usually do wedding commissions but drawing these portraits for my brother-in-law Sam and his fiance Isabel was so much fun. They added gold heart confetti that I think worked really well. Can’t wait to watch them tie the knot in August!

This doesn’t happen very often! Up-and-coming australian illustrator and printmaker, Tessa McDonnell just sent me this photo of her new tattoo based on my drawing “The Quick Brown Fox Jumps Over The Lazy Dog”. I love it. Thanks for sharing Tessa!

I should also say that this blog isn’t dead, it’s just on a long break while I deal with some things. I’ll be back on track and posting again soon.
